NAIMUN LIX Conference

  • WASHINGTON HILTON 1919 Connecticut Avenue Northwest Washington, DC, 20009 United States (map)

Relief Without Borders is excited to announce a new Philanthropy Partnership with two of Georgetown University International Relation’s Model UN Programs: NAIMUN and NCSC. We are honored to be a part of the NCSC XLIX Conference in October and the NAIMUN LIX Conference in February.

The North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) is one of the oldest UN simulations for high school students in North America and the world. Since 1963, the conference has been a forum in which a dynamic range of young students come from around the world to seek, through discussion, negotiation, and debate, solutions to the various problems of the world.

NCSC (The National Collegiate Security Conference) is one of the oldest and most prestigious UN simulations for college students around the world. Since 1973, the conference has focused on realistic simulations of the world’s most pressing security concerns in modern international affairs.

Relief Without Borders has provided educational aid in developing countries for the past five years. More than 50% of children in developing countries don’t go to school due to a lack of safety or access.

The Model UN fundraiser will be directed towards Relief Without Borders' work in providing educational opportunities and resources in developing regions.
